Mental health, as it is for a lot of people these days, has become my biggest "roadblock" with my project cars. We have a '74 Corvette convertible that had a valve cover gasket leaking that I began to repair in 2015. A whole lot of "while I'm in here...." later, involving a body-off frame restoration, and it still isn't done. It is drivable, but not street legal and I have decided to do a few more upgrades (Sniper Quadrajet, new FI fuel tank, possible 700R4 trans swap, etc) so it will be off the road a bit longer. Luckily I acquired a car I can jump in a take a drive (1995 SL500) with the top down when I need to clear my head. Taking a back road with the top down at double the speed limit (in Mexico, of course) will sure help a feller's focus. Shout out to everyone who is battling mental issues and also has an automotive addiction. Keep up the fight on both fronts. I know it is very hard at times to stay afloat, but once you are able to find a combination of "stuff" that works for you, life suddenly becomes a lot more enjoyable. Jared, I'm happy to see Trihard will keep a hemi. I enjoy seeing the creativity with cars, but I generally prefer when vehicles are kept in the family.
